Louis Vuitton Kubic Armchair

Originally dreamed up in 1923 by avant-garde legend Pierre Legrain for legendary art collector Jacques Doucet, the iconic Kubic Armchair has been pulled from the archives and re-engineered by the French luxury house. Debuted as a centerpiece for the brand’s Objets Nomades collection during Paris Design Week 2026, the chair bridges the gap between raw Cubism and high-end Art Deco.
The silhouette is entirely architectural, discarding standard lounge curves for a striking trapezoidal backrest and sharply faceted armrests. Every geometric surface is wrapped in Louis Vuitton’s ultra-premium, natural Nomade leather or vegetable-tanned VVN leather, providing a stark material contrast to the structural, rich rosewood side legs. It’s less a piece of living room furniture and more an imposing, functional sculpture built to anchor a room.
